First Practice Photo Shoot

I want to start my own child portrait business.  I've taken some great shots of my nieces, but I need experience with other children - on the spot skill that gives me the confidence that I can get some shots people will want to buy.

With the help of some friends I have some times scheduled to photograph their children.  Here are the results of the first shoot.  Note: it helps to have such adorable subjects!

John Day Fossil Beds

We took a mini vacation to central Oregon.  Stayed at the City Center Motel in Prineville - old building in excellent condition and very clean.  I would HIGHLY recommend this place.  It was our home base to visit the Painted Hills and Sheep Rock units of the John Day fossil beds.  Absolutely beautiful -  The wisdom of the hills is surely present in this place!
