International Rabbit Day

This is a day set aside not only to honor the friendship and love these little critters can give us, but to bring attention to the harm that is caused because of unnecessary testing. But I'm here to show you pictures of these soft and gentle creatures.

National Beach Day

In 2014 Colleen Paige started national beach day to celebrate the Southern California beaches where she grew up. She also wanted to draw attention to being responsible for the wildlife that lives along the shoreline. It is the responsibility of all beach goers to keep the beaches clean of trash and debris and to be careful where we step.
The beach is one of my favorite places to be. Enjoy my view of this wonderful place.

Ride the Wind

Today is National Ride the Wind day. Although this day celebrates the anniversary of the first human powered aircraft to win the Kremer prize, I saw something different in those words - Ride the Wind...  Freedom, peace, joy.

Black Cat Appreciation Day

Yep - there is a day to celebrate the beautiful cats that have been given a bad rap throughout history. They are beautiful, loving and wonderful creatures.
