National Beach Day

In 2014 Colleen Paige started national beach day to celebrate the Southern California beaches where she grew up. She also wanted to draw attention to being responsible for the wildlife that lives along the shoreline. It is the responsibility of all beach goers to keep the beaches clean of trash and debris and to be careful where we step.
The beach is one of my favorite places to be. Enjoy my view of this wonderful place.

The Tranquility of the Beach

I have a busy life.  I work full time managing a child care center.  I'm writing my Master's thesis and I write four blogs.  I have a house, a husband and four cats to care for.  And when it all seems to be overwhelming, I go to the beach to bring my spirit back into alignment with the present.

The wildly crashing and gently rolling waves lull me into the here and now.

California Vacation

I've been spending a few days in sunny California with my oldest friend.  No, she's not old, but I've known her for most of my life.  She lives at the beach and I've been lucky enough to be there at the right time!
