Freezing for Photos

It snowed and rained and snowed some more today - so I put on my boots and coat and went out to take pictures.  And this is what I got......

drops in a puddle

water moving

dusting of morning snow

water droplets on a branch

water droplets on a bush

goldfinch going to my feeder

and posing for the camera

For the Birds

I've been trying all day to get a picture of the nuthatch feeding on my front porch.

I got a picture of a scrub jay

A Goldfinch

A whole bunch of bushtits

.

.

But not one of a nuthatch.
